Before trying the adventure with your dog

Make sure he likes being in a kayak and likes the water.

If not, your dog may refuse to board with you.

Choose your boat well

A 1-person kayak for 1 human with 1 small or medium-sized dog  

A 2-person kayak  for 1 to 2 humans with 1 large dog

 

For the comfort of all

We prefer that dogs be led on a leash upon your arrival and in the shuttle bus. 

You can bring a soft cushion that does not fear water to place it at the bottom of the kayak (for your dog of course). 

 

To avoid disturbing wildlife

Dogs must be kept on a leash outside the kayak. Remember to untie your dog in the kayak, to prevent it from getting stuck in the event of the kayak overturning. 

 

The course

A few small passages of white water are to be crossed by kayak. You will experience some sensations and will probably get wet even if the rest of the river is rather calm.

We do not offer buoyancy vests for dogs but you are free to bring your own if you wish.

 

The navigation of your animal is your entire responsibility.
